Do you accept insurance?
I am out-of-network with all insurance companies. Some clients are able to submit receipts to their insurance provider for potential reimbursement. I will provide a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurer if your plan covers out-of-network services.
Why don’t you take insurance?
Insurance companies often limit the number of visits and the type of treatment we can provide. By working outside insurance, I can offer longer, one-on-one sessions focused solely on your recovery and performance.
Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay?
Yes! Most Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) allow you to use pre-tax dollars for physical therapy.
Most sessions are 50 minutes of one-on-one care with myself, a licensed physical therapist. I do not double-book and you will always be treated by me.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your condition, goals, and how your body responds to treatment. Many patients notice improvement within 2–3 sessions.
What conditions do you treat?
I can help with a wide range of musculoskeletal issues—sports injuries, post-surgical rehab, back and neck pain, chronic pain, mobility and strength training, and injury prevention to name a few. Please refer to the "Services" tab located at the top of the screen for a more comprehensive list of conditions. Feel free to reach out to me directly to discuss your symptoms to see if I can help.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No. Washington State is a direct access state meaning you do not need a referral to see a physical therapist.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Bring any relevant medical records, imaging reports, and your HSA/FSA card if applicable.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Please call/text or email me to schedule an appointment. 701-203-3340 or info@palousephysicaltherapy.com.
Why would I pay out of pocket for physical therapy?
Cash-based PT often means fewer visits, faster results, and no surprise bills. Many people assume using insurance saves money, but in reality, copays, deductibles, and limited coverage often add up. Paying out of pocket gives you direct access to one-on-one, personalized care without the limits of insurance. Sessions are longer, fully focused on your goals, and often lead to faster results with fewer visits. Many patients find that the improved quality and efficiency of care actually saves them time, money, and frustration in the long run.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
We will discuss your history, goals, and concerns, then perform a detailed movement assessment. You’ll leave with a clear plan and hands-on treatment tailored to your needs.
Can cash-based PT save me money?
Often, yes. Between high copays, deductibles, and limited insurance coverage, many people end up spending more for less effective care. With us, you know exactly what you’re paying for—care that helps you get better faster.
